The specific conditions include the use of an ODS column, the use of a water-methanol mixture having a methanol concentration of 20% as mobile phase up to 15 minutes after the guava extract was applied to the column, a 40% methanol / RTI mixture of water and methanol. In addition, the specific conditions further include the use of a water-methanol mixture having a methanol concentration of 60% as the mobile phase for 30 to 45 minutes after applying the guava extract to the column. The components contained in the anti-avian influenza virus agent are eluted from the column after 20 minutes or 20 to 35 minutes following the application of the guava extract to the column.
