PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic toll collection system with improved convenience of users.;SOLUTION: An automatic toll collection system includes: a first automatic toll collection machine provided with at least one money processing unit which accepts input of money, and recognizes an amount of the input money; and a second automatic toll collection machine comprising: at least one money processing unit which is installed next to the first automatic toll collection machine with a traffic lane laid between, accepts input of money, and recognizes an amount of the input money; and a main control part which controls the first automatic toll collection machine and a self-device, and performs toll charging processing to vehicles passing the traffic lane based on a sum total of amounts recognized by all money processing units provided for the first automatic toll collection machine and all money processing units provided for the self-device.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
