PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the state inside a farm crop non-destructively and contactlessly.;SOLUTION: OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography ) measurement of rice was conducted using supercontinuum light (SC light) with a center wavelength of 1700 nm, a half-value width of 242 nm, and a band of 1400-1950 nm. Fig. 7(a) is an optical microscope photograph indicating the appearance of the rice, and Fig. 7(b) is an OCT image (a cross-section image in a depth direction and a cross-section image at an xz plane in (a)). The gradation of the OCT image is considered to reflect the concentration and degree of crystallization of starch.
