PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who refers to default information showing default of an electronic monetary claim to know importance of the default information more surely.SOLUTION: A default information processing device comprises: a sending financial institution information acquisition unit that acquires information for a sending financial institution of an electronically recorded monetary claim falling into default, on the basis of default notice transmitted by an electronic monetary claim recording institution; a financial institution determination unit that determines whether or not the sending financial institution falls under a prescribed financial institution, on the basis of information for the sending financial institution; an obligor information acquisition unit that acquires information for an obligor of the electronically recorded monetary claim falling into default, on the basis of the default notice; an account presence determination unit that determines whether or not the obligor has an account with the prescribed financial institution, on the basis of the information for the obligor; and an output unit that outputs a determination result of the financial institution determination unit and a determination result of the account presence determination unit.
