PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an influence degree calculation device, an influence degree calculation method, and an influence degree calculation program capable of predicting a degree of influence on development of a particular gene that a double-stranded RNA targets.SOLUTION: An influence degree calculation device comprises an influence calculation part which calculates a value associated with a degree of influence on a target of RNA interference between a first RNA chain and a second RNA chain upon the basis of a calculation expression including, as parameters, first base information showing a kind of a base at a 5' end of a first RNA chain of a double-stranded RNA, second base information showing a kind of a base at a 5' end of a second RNA chain of the double-stranded RNA, first stability information showing thermodynamic stability upon the basis of a kind of at least one base from the 5' end of the first RNA chain, and second stability information showing thermodynamic stability upon the basis of a kind of at least one base from the 5' end of the second RNA chain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
