PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter tube manufacturing method capable of minimizing useless portions for manufacturing cost reduction and space saving in manufacturing site while continuously manufacturing a plurality of catheter tubes using the same core wire, and also to provide a continuous body of catheter tubes.SOLUTION: A catheter tube manufacturing method comprises: an internal coat layer body forming step of forming an internal coat layer body 51 on a core wire 40 having unit structures 45 continuously formed on it, each unit structure having a large diameter part 41, a small diameter part 42, a first transition part 43 which is formed, with its diameter reduced, on one end side of the large diameter part 41, and a second transition part 44 which is formed, with its diameter reduced, on the other end side of the large diameter part 41 and whose inclination angle X2 to the axial line is larger than that of the first transition part 43; a cutting step of cutting, together with the core wire 40, a tubular continuous part 60 obtained on the core wire 40, at a predetermined position of the large diameter part 41 and small diameter part 42, into a plurality of discrete tubes 61; and a core wire removing step of removing the core wire 40 from the discrete tubes 61.
