PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for dissimilar material joining capable of satisfactorily joining a metal member to be joined and a resin member to be joined, a dissimilar material joint structure, and a method for manufacturing a dissimilar material joined body.SOLUTION: A first step includes passing a cylindrical portion 22 of a metal component 14 for first joining through a first member 18 to be joined, and bringing a flange portion 24 of the component 14 for first joining into contact with the first member 18 to be joined. A second step after the first step includes spreading a central portion in a direction along an axial line direction of the cylindrical portion 22 to the outside in a radial direction in a scheduled deformation portion 30 of a member 12 for dissimilar material joining, folding the scheduled deformation portion 30 so as to be a folded portion 30X, and sandwiching the first member 18 to be joined between the folded scheduled deformation portion 30 and the flange portion 24. A third step after the second step includes arranging a second member 20 to be joined so as to face the first member 18 to be joined, and spot welding a second end surface 16B of a component 16 for second joining to a second member 20 to be joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
