PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position coordinate conversion system that enables a position coordinate conversion between an image coordinate system and a global coordinate system to be performed with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A road side imaging device 10 provided on a road side comprises at least: a road side camera 11 that photographs a vehicle; an object detection section 12 that detects an object 25 from a photographed image, and measures a position coordinate in an image coordinate system; and a coordinate conversion table preparation section 13 that associates the position coordinate of the object 25 in the image coordinate system with a position coordinate in a global coordinate system of the object 25 corrected by a position correction section 24. An on-vehicle device 20 comprises at least: a position measurement section 21 that measures the position coordinate in the global coordinate system of the object 25; a direction vector measurement section 22 that measures a direction vector to the road side camera 11 from the object 25; the position correction part 24 that corrects the position coordinate in the global coordinate system of the object 25 measured on the basis of the position coordinate in the global coordinate system and the direction vector to a position coordinate in the global coordinate system on a road surface.
