PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for diagnosing an aldosterone production adenoma.SOLUTION: An aldosterone production adenoma is inspected by analyzing a single nucleotide mutant of a base equivalent to a base of the 451th base number of a specific base sequence on KCNJ5 gene and based on whether or not the base is a cytosine. An expression amount of an mRNA of KCNJ5 gene or a protein is measured and the aldosterone production adenoma is inspected based on the measurement value.
