ABSTRACT The aim of this invention is to present analytically comprehensive scheduling formulations for Repetitive Construction Projects. This research study proposes a new approach to address the issues identified in scheduling repetitive construction projects by setting mathematical scheduling formulations which consider crew work continuity. Mathematical representation of the proposed scheduling approach renders strong analytical capabilities and the ease of computerization. The proposed genetic algorithm-based repetitive project scheduling model (GARPS) strikes an optimal balance between project duration, crew work continuity and project costs, through its multi-objective approach.Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showingthe flowchart for GARPS.
