NOVEL MODELS TO EVALUATE THE COMPREHENSIVE PERFORMANCE OF HYPERVISORS

摘要

The novel models are proposed to evaluate the comprehensive performance of the hypervisors. The novel models evaluate the hypervisors™ throughput, system resources (CPU, memory), and guest isolation (CPU, Network) performances with multiple virtual machines. The models are generic as the relative factors are used in their proposal. Because of the generic nature, the proposed novel models suit for different versions of hypervisors and guest virtual machine operating systems.The generic models avoid the dependability of benchmarks and profiling tools. The proposed novel generic models are useful to the industries and academia to select the suitable hypervisor to virtualize the datacentres.
