7-O- 7-O- Method for Preparing 7-O-Methyl Genistein and 7-O-Methyl Daidzein Using Biotransformation of Genistein and Daidzein

摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for preparing 7-O-methyl genistein and 7-O-methyl daidzein from genistein and daidzein using microorganism mutants introduced with genes coding novel O-methyl transferase (SaOMT2) for effectively methylation of plavonoid and SAM synthetase synthesizing S-adenosine-L-methionine which is an auxiliary factor of the enzyme. The method comprises the following steps: (a) culturing a transformed microorganism mutant and converting genistein or daidzein into 7-O-methyl genistein or 7-O-methyl daidzein; and (b) obtaining the converted 7-O-methyl genistein or 7-O-methyl daidzein.
