An apparatus for determining the degree of demineralization transverse processes of the lumbar vertebrae rib in cattle, comprising a housing made in the form of two telescopically interconnected frame parts. One part of the frame comprises a support bar, and the second - vertically mounted bushing arranged therein a rod, the lower end of the support rod mounted heel, and interacts with the upper hinged thereto lever.
