Water-in-oil emulsified composition and water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic using the composition

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion composition which, in application to the skin, does not become sticky, gives fresh use feeling, and is good in extendability, while being excellent in stability, and to provide a water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic with low viscosity, which is blended with the composition.SOLUTION: For solving problems, provided is a water-in-oil type emulsion composition containing the following components (A)-(C) as essential components: (A) a silicone compound having a branched structure, represented by general formula (1) and having weight average molecular weight of 500-200,000, (B) a hydrophobic film forming agent, and (C) hydrophobic silica, wherein the composition further contains a component (D) liquid oil. The inventors found out to complete the invention, that a water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic blended with the composition, in application to the skin, does not become sticky, gives fresh use feeling, and is good in extendability, while being excellent in stability although it is low in viscosity.
