PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a nursing person to appropriately keep track of what play behaviors children are doing by checking recognized two play behaviors.SOLUTION: A play behavior recognition system (100) comprises play facility equipment 10 that can freely moved around in a space and outputs accelerations and a plurality of distance image sensors 12 installed on a ceiling. In the space, some children may move from one area to another arbitrarily. The children's positions and postures can be known from depth information outputted from the distance image sensors 12. And a central control device (16) of the play behavior recognition system recognizes a first play behavior classified by children's social behavior style and a second play behavior classified by mental functions by utilizing the children's positions and postures and the acceleration of the play facility equipment. And the recognized two play behaviors are stored into a database.
