摘要
A brain-to-computer interface providing brain actuated control of hardware or software associated with said computer is effected by releasably attaching a plurality of high-impedance dry Ag/Ag—Cl electrodes to selected locations on a human user's scalp; providing a low-noise, high-gain, instrumentation amplifier electrically associated with said plurality of electrodes; utilizing a high-resolution Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converter electrically associated with said instrumentation amplifier and said computer to digitize electroencephalographic signals detected by said plurality of electrodes; and, analyzing said digitized electroencephalographic signals utilizing a computer algorithm to detect steady-state evoked potentials in response to visual stimuli for use in providing control inputs to said hardware or software.
