Self-Powered Portable POS system with Smart Queue Management Solution in Retail Shopping which is invented to reduce the queuing problem which is the most common issue that occurs during the checkout counter in any shopping stores. Our inventive solution is next generation portable point of sale solution in which the user can perform the operation of Scanning, Billing and Payment in retail shopping process focused on efficient queue management for the customers, using a touch screen based Interactive display tab (1) which is fixed in shopping trolley as shown in Fig. 1. Our proposed solution also provides bag dispenser (3) which is attached to the shopping trolley where carryout bag can be taken by the user for faster packaging of products during checkout. Final payment can be either done online using tab or offline at the cash counter. Complete Solution is powered up through wired or wireless mechanism using alternating current (AC) as main power source charged using the dock charging station (6) as shown in Fig. 7, 8 and it is also powered by two renewable energy including the dynamo in wheel (4) as shown in Fig. 2 and dye synthesized solar cell (5) as shown in Fig. 5, 6 in which the power backup is stored in Battery unit(2). The shopping is performed used the customized shopping app installed in tab and entire backend process is controlled by the controller unit as shown in Fig.9 which connects the tab with server and synchronize the shopping data with the store server for complete instore retail management process and can be integrated with existing security measures like electronic article surveillance system (EAS) and other security devices to prevent shoplifting of the products.
