A multi-mode based intelligent robot interaction method, comprising: activating human face recognition and/or voiceprint recognition and calling up a user knowledge map corresponding to a user; acquiring a user parameter of the user and updating in real time the user knowledge map according to the user parameter; modifying a parameter configuration of a robot according to the updated user knowledge map; and the robot performing a human-machine interaction with the user according to the modified parameter configuration. The present invention can significantly enhance enjoyment during the process of human-machine interaction, since the user knowledge map of the robot is not only preset by the manufacturer, but also purposefully recorded and reflected in the feedback from the process of interaction with the user, thus enabling the feedback of the robot to more closely reflect the real-time state of the user during the process of interaction. The present invention further provides an intelligent robot.
