A lithium ion battery pole piece and a manufacturing method therefor and a lithium ion battery using the same. The manufacturing method for a lithium ion battery pole piece comprises the following steps: S1, disposing an active material layer on two opposite surfaces of a current collector; S2, disposing a PTC coating on one of the active material layers; and S3, disposing a ceramic coating on the other of the active material layers, to obtain a lithium ion battery pole piece. By providing the PTC coating in the pole piece, when a battery undergoes thermal runaway, an internal resistance can be rapidly increased so as to break a circuit in the battery and prevent further discharge, ultimately achieving the effect of protecting a battery core. By providing the ceramic coating in the pole piece, the liquid absorption performance of the pole piece can be effectively improved, the resistance of the pole piece to hydrofluoric acid can be enhanced, and a good thermal isolation effect can be achieved, allowing a large increase in the electrical performance and safety performance of the battery core.
