According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for measuring a geometric error of an index table comprises: a double ball bar mounting step of placing the index table on a first position, then, mounting a first ball, which is one ball of a double ball bar, on a position of an end of the multi-axial control machine, and mounting a second ball, which is the other ball of the double ball bar, on the index table; and a step of measuring the distance between the first ball and the second ball by using the double ball bar at the first position of the index table and measuring the distance between the first ball and the second ball by using the double ball bar after placing the index table at a second position by rotating the index table at a specific angle, and measuring an offset error, which is one of geometric errors, by using two pieces of measurement data obtained by distance measurement. According to the embodiment of the present invention, a geometric error of the index table of the multi-axial control machine can be accurately measured by using the double ball bar, which is easily obtained at a work site at a low price, and can be quantitatively evaluated.
