The present invention provides an environmental-friendly value evaluation system and a method thereof, which can effectively perform environmental-friendly value evaluation with respect to a building. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the environmental-friendly value evaluation system comprises: an environmental-friendly functionality calculating part calculating environmental-friendly functionality with respect to the building; an environmental cost calculating part calculating an environmental cost based on a lifecycle cost of the building, a CO_2 emission quantity and a potential environmental index; and an environmental-friendly value evaluating part evaluating an environmental-friendly value with respect to the building from the environmental-friendly functionality calculated by the environmental-friendly functionality calculating part and the environmental cost calculated by the environmental cost calculating part. The environmental-friendly value with respect to the building can be proportional to the environmental-friendly functionality calculated by the environmental-friendly functionality calculating part, and can be inversely proportional to the environmental cost calculated by the environmental cost calculating part.
