The present invention relates to a system and method for evaluating the mental health of an employee which includes a mental health evaluation server providing medical examination items to an employee terminal in client units, analyzing responses to the medical examination items to evaluate the metal health, and providing the results. The medical examination items provided by the mental health evaluation server can be provided to evaluate a stress item including job stress, a stress reaction item including depression, anxiety, and unhappiness indexes, and a stress coping mind asset including resilience. The metal health evaluation results provided by the mental health evaluation server include the comprehensive evaluation results of the stress, the stress reaction, and the stress coping mind asset, the detailed evaluation results of the respective elements of the stress, the stress reaction, and the stress coping mind asset, averages in the employees of the same client company, averages in the same position, averages in the same age group, and the comparison results thereof, of the respective elements of the stress, the stress reaction, and the stress coping mind asset, and mental health self-management methods depending on the metal health evaluation results. The present invention is able to induce a proper action to alleviate or solve job stress.
