The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis, and more specifically, to a natural composition for preventing or/and treating atopic dermatitis, which is extracted from a mixture containing Houttuynia cordata Thunberg, Artemisia capillaris Thunb., Smilax china L., Sophora flavescens, Lonicera japonica, Lithospermi Radix, and liquorice. In addition, the present invention provides a functional natural composition having effects in the prevention or/and treatment of atopic dermatitis, which comprises a composition extracted from a mixture containing Houttuynia cordata Thunberg, Artemisia capillaris Thunb., Smilax china L., Sophora flavescens, Lonicera japonica, Lithospermi Radix, and liquorice. In addition, the present invention provides a functional natural composition having effects in the prevention or/and treatment of atopic dermatitis, which comprises a composition extracted from a composition that is extracted from a mixture and mixed with hinoki cypress water, the mixture containing Houttuynia cordata Thunberg, Artemisia capillaris Thunb., Smilax china L., Sophora flavescens, Lonicera japonica, Lithospermi Radix, and liquorice.
