The present invention relates to a method of providing a social network service in which a server of a wired/wireless communication system forms a relationship between users based on value assessment. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes: a step of transmitting a value assessment request message, which has been received from a first terminal which is an existing member of the social network service, to a second terminal; a step of receiving a value assessment response message, including a value assessment result about a user of the first terminal, from the second terminal in response to the value assessment request message, and then, transmitting the message to the first terminal; and a step of controlling the formation of a relationship between the first and second terminals over the social network service. The value assessment request message includes: value assessment information inputted by the user of the first terminal in relation to a user of the second terminal; photo information of the user of the first terminal, who is a subject for the value assessment; a dial user interface (UI) for the value assessment; and an arrow UI for controlling the dial UI.
