KP1 Novel Klebsiella genus bacteria specific bacteriophage KP1 and antibacterial composition comprising the same

The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage KP1 having a killing ability specific to genus Klebsiella bacteria, particularly extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-genus Klebsiella bacteria; a pharmaceutical composition, an antibiotic composition, a feed additive composition, a feed, a disinfectant or a washing agent for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by genus Klebsiella bacteria, which all include the bacteriophage; and a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by Klebsiella, which includes a step of administrating the bacteriophage to an object. The method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by genus Klebsiella bacteria using the bacteriophage KP1 has very high specificity to genus Klebsiella bacteria, and particularly to ESBL-genus Klebsiella bacteria compared to a conventional chemical material such as antibiotics or the like, and the bacteriophage KP1 is infected to genus Klebsiella bacteria, thereby having excellent bacteriolytic activity and being strong to physiochemical stimulation. In addition, the bacteriophage KP1 of the present invention is not infected to a host other than bacteria except a human, an animal, a plant, or the like, and thus it is possible to solve a problem of antibiotic resistant bacteria due to abuse of antibiotics, a problem of residual antibiotics in food, and a problem of a wide range of host ranges. Accordingly, the bacteriophage KP1 of the present invention can be variously used in the fields of prevention or treatment of infectious diseases caused by genus Klebsiella bacteria, antibiotic compositions, feed additive compositions, feeds, disinfectants, or washing agents.
