The present invention relates to a system for providing a monitoring service of a behavioral aspect of solitary senior citizens and a method thereof. According to the present invention, when a sensor module senses information (hereinafter, referred to as behavioral aspect sensing information) that the solitary senior citizens use the goods whenever the solitary senior citizens use and wirelessly transmits the same to an IoT hub installed in a house, a corresponding IoT hub transmits the behavioral aspect sensing information to an information providing server using a wired/wireless communication network in real time wherein the sensor module is arranged in a residential house of the solitary senior citizens and is attached to goods used by the solitary senior citizens in a daily life. The information providing server reads the behavioral aspect sensing information stored in an information providing DB to generate monitoring information on a behavioral aspect of the solitary senior citizens, which indicates the behavioral aspect of the solitary senior citizens changed over the time, and presents the same on a screen of a user terminal in a state of storing the behavioral aspect sensing information in the information providing DB when the user terminal pays for a service fee by accessing the information providing server and applies for a monitoring service for the behavioral aspect of the solitary senior citizens. According to the present invention, monitoring information on a behavioral aspect of solitary senior citizens is provided by using a sensor module attached to goods used by the solitary senior citizens so the privacy of senior citizens is not invaded as compared to a conventional art, and movement of the senior citizens is not restricted. Also, a user can conveniently check the behavioral aspect of the solitary senior citizens by easily applying for a monitoring service of the behavioral aspect of the solitary senior citizens using a user terminal anytime and anywhere.
