Disclosed is a method for assisting treatment of muscle pain by a trigger point. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring positional information of a muscle pain point of a body of a patient; and creating a trigger point position guide image that displays a position of a trigger point causing pain in a muscle pain point of the patient by using the acquired positional information of the trigger point to display the created trigger point position guide image.
