The present invention relates to a film type sauce comprising a chili pepper and to a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the manufacturing method comprises the following steps: (A) manufacturing a red pepper paste sauce containing 1 to 5 wt% of sugar, 1 to 5 wt% of a chili pepper and 0.1 to 2 wt% of starch; (B) firstly homogenizing the manufactured red pepper paste sauce with high pressure homogenization (HPH) of 50 to 150 bar; and (C) secondarily homogenizing the firstly homogenized red pepper paste sauce with HPH of 400 to 600 bar, wherein the red pepper paste sauce, which is usually used as a sauce, can be provided in a film form, which can be practically applied.
