To provide a filtration container and a filtration method, capable of filtering efficiently a solvent from a mixture containing a solid matter and the solvent.SOLUTION: A filtration container has a bottomless cylindrical body 1, and a lid kit including at least three kinds of lid bodies for covering openings of the body, in which, one of the lid bodies is a first lid body 2 for sealing one opening of the body, another of the lid bodies is a second lid body 3 having a lid part for sealing the other opening of the body, and a holding part capable of holding a sedimented solid matter, and further different one of the lid bodies is a third lid body 4 including a filter, exchangeable with a lid part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
