To provide an image classification system, a manufacturing apparatus with an image classification function, a discriminator for image classification, and an image classification method, which are capable of improving yield in image classification.SOLUTION: Provided are classification means for classifying a classification image to be classified according to the type of the classification image, a plurality of discriminated areas set so as to correspond to types of the classification image, and an unidentified area set between the discriminated areas. When the type of the classification image to be classified matches the type of any one of the plurality of discriminated areas, the classification means classifies the classification image into a matched discriminated area. When the type of the classification image does not match any type of the plurality of discriminated areas, the classification means classifies the classification image to be classified into the unidentified area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
