The invention relates to protective clothing which allows the discharge of electrostatic charges accumulated on it, the clothing being used in the field of microelectronics, in order to decrease the rate of electrical discharge upon the handled devices, which would lead to their deterioration. The claimed clothing is made by a plating process and contains two layers: the first layer (1) is an insulating-dissipating layer made of textile threads, positioned towards the inside of the fabric, and the second layer (2) which is a good electricity-conducting layer, positioned outside the fabric, is made of composite threads with conductive surface, the conductive layer (2) being continuous at the level of the entire product, which will facilitate the quick dissipation of the accumulated charges at the inside.
