Provided in the present invention are an intelligent terminal-based wireless network control method and wireless network control device, comprising the following steps: monitoring the screen brightness of an intelligent terminal; when the intelligent terminal is in a black screen state, recording the black screen time of the intelligent terminal; when the black screen time of the intelligent terminal is greater than a preset time threshold, monitoring the wireless network connection state of the intelligent terminal; and when the intelligent terminal is not connected to a wireless network, turning off a wireless network connection module of the intelligent terminal. With the present invention, it may be determined whether an intelligent terminal is in an effective network connection state by means of monitoring the screen brightness and the network connection state of the intelligent terminal, and a wireless network connection module of the intelligent terminal may be intelligently disconnected if there is no effective network connection, thereby reducing the waste of power caused by the a wireless network module operating and improving the wireless network connection intelligence of the intelligent terminal.
