A temperature detection device (10) for an intelligent terminal, and an intelligent terminal provided with the device (10). The temperature detection device (10) comprises: provided on an intelligent terminal motherboard and a sampling circuit (12), and a processor (13); and a thermocouple (11). The thermocouple is provided in the intelligent terminal and connected with the sampling circuit (12), and comprises a hot end (111) and a cold end (112). The hot end (111) is provided in the intelligent terminal in a working area where temperature detection is needed, and the cold end (112) is provided on the intelligent terminal motherboard. A temperature difference is produced by the hot end (111) and the cold end (112), and the temperature difference produces a thermoelectromotive force; the sampling circuit (12) detects the thermoelectromotive force and converts the thermoelectromotive force into an electrical signal, and sends the electrical signal to the processor (13); the processor (13) acquires, according to a correspondence between a pre-stored electrical signal and a temperature difference, the temperature of the hot end (111). The invention realizes high-precision temperature detection; and at the same time, the influence of environment on the detection result is reduced. Further disclosed is an intelligent terminal provided with the device (10).
