The invention relates to a method for integrating a cartridge-like functional component into a furniture panel (43). The method has the following steps: - introducing at least one recess (411, 421, 431) into the furniture panel; - applying an adhesive layer (50) onto at least one side of the functional component, wherein the adhesive layer (50), the at least one side of the functional component, and/or the recess (411, 421, 431) has a structured surface; - introducing the functional component into the recess; and - pressing the furniture panel together with the inserted functional component. The invention additionally relates to a furniture panel (43) which is produced according to the method and comprises an integrated functional component and to a furniture body (10) or furniture comprising such a furniture panel (43).
