The object of this patent is to provide a binder resin system that does not need an added crosslinker, which is thermally crosslinked, without releasing volatile compounds as is the case when using aminoplast or phenolic resins, or blocked isocyanates. It has fast cure and high gloss and gloss retention even when subjected to humid environments at elevated temperatures such as 40°C.
