摘要
Disclosed in the present invention is a preparation method for a nitrogen/sulfur co-doped porous carbon aerogel cathode catalyst having defect structures for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), the present invention belonging to the field of fuel cells. Carrageenan and urea are used as raw materials of said carbon aerogel, and a cathode catalyst for PEMFCs is successfully prepared. The carbon aerogel has abundant defect structures, is co-doped with heteroatoms nitrogen and sulfur, and has a multi-stage pore structure, exhibiting excellent oxygen reduction (ORR) catalytic activity (the half-wave potential is 0.76 V in 0.5M H2SO4 electrolyte solution). The ORR activity of the traditional heteroatom-doped carbon nanomaterial in an acidic electrolyte solution is not ideal compared with commercial Pt/C. Thus, improving the ORR catalytic property of the carbon aerogel under acidic conditions and applying same to PEMFCs instead of precious metal Pt-based catalysts are of great significance. In the present invention, the source of carrageenan is abundant, and the resulting nitrogen/sulfur co-doped porous carbon aerogel having defect structures has excellent ORR catalytic property under acidic conditions and thus is a very promising energy conversion material.
