The present invention relates to a biomarker THBS2 for diagnosing malignant mesothelioma and uses thereof. Specifically, a malignant mesothelioma diagnostic gene, THBS2 is selected by bioinformatics analysis, and it is confirmed that the gene has high expression levels in tissue samples from patients with mesothelioma. Therefore, the gene can be used as a biomarker for the diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma.
