The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for moisturizing skin and reducing skin wrinkles, comprising a mixed extract of licorice, jujube, Pinellia ternata, ginger, Bupleurum falcatum, ginseng and Scutellaria baicalensis as an active ingredient. The mixed extract of the present invention is not cytotoxic, protects cells damaged by ultraviolet irradiation, significantly inhibits the expression of elastase, and increases the content of hyaluronic acid. Therefore, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can be usefully used in cosmetics for moisturizing skin and reducing skin wrinkles.
