摘要

The present invention relates to α-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-[α-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-fructofuranoside] and a prebiotic composition including the same. According to the present invention, a newly developed compound, α-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-[α-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-fructofuranoside] which has a structure of chemical formula 1, is prebiotics. Accordingly, provided are effects of promoting growth of Bifidobacterium genus microorganisms and promoting production of short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) when cultivating the Bifidobacterium genus microorganisms.
