The present invention relates to a system for managing a four-dimensional (4D) construction process using virtual construction simulation and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the system comprises: a 4D model construction unit reconstructing a three-dimensional (3D) design model of an object to be constructed into a construction 3D model, which may be classified into a plurality of components in a process unit, and constructing a 4D model capable of carrying out construction simulation by connecting a process schedule to the construction 3D model; and a process carrying out unit managing a progress of the construction process in real time through virtual construction simulation using the 4D model.
