The present invention relates to a fermented extract of ocean sunfish, a cosmetic composition comprising the same, and a method for preparing the same. The method comprises: a first step of drying an ocean sunfish mixture to produce a dry ocean sunfish product; a second step of shredding the dry ocean sunfish product to produce a ground ocean sunfish product; a third step of mixing the ground ocean sunfish product with a solvent to produce a mixture, and fermenting the mixture to produce a fermented ocean sunfish product; a fourth step of aging the fermented ocean sunfish product; and a fifth step of filtering the aged fermented ocean sunfish product to produce a fermented extract of ocean sunfish. According to the present invention, due to the process of fermenting the ocean sunfish with lactic acid bacteria and/or Bacillus subtilis, the extract contains an abundance of fish collagen that is present in a large quantity in the ocean sunfish.
