The present invention includes a driver assistance system for individually determining the boredom of the driver of a vehicle. The system includes a user identification unit configured to identify the driver of the vehicle. The system also includes a communication unit configured to receive user profile data of the identified driver; and a sensor unit configured to detect sensor data related to the identified driver. The system includes a computing unit configured to determine an individual degree of boredom for the identified driver of the vehicle, taking into account the received user profile data and the sensed sensor data.
