PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically measure a reference core position required for installation of an elevator in a hoistway. A reference core position calculation device 100 for calculating a reference core position of a hoistway in which an elevator is installed has a measurement unit 101 and a calculation unit 112. The measuring unit 101 measures the dimensions of each part of the hoistway. The calculation unit 112 calculates the dimensional value of each part of the hoistway based on the reference core position and the dimensions of each part measured by the measurement unit 101. When the reference core position is set to the first reference core position, the calculation unit 112 determines whether or not the dimensional values of each part of the hoistway calculated based on the first reference core position satisfy a predetermined specification. ..
