It is an object to perform an immunological analysis method of BG in a biological sample, which is simple in operation and has sensitivity equivalent to that of Limulus reagent. The above problems can be solved by combining the pretreatment of a biological sample with an alkaline solution and the use of an anti-BG monoclonal antibody that specifically reacts with BG.
