dihydrojasmona as an antifungal agent and enhancer of the action of conventional antifungals. the present invention describes a process for obtaining antifungal products for the control of dermatophytoses in humans and animals, being composed of the natural product dihydrojasmona and various combinations of dihydrojasmona and terbinafine. the appearance of resistant fungi stimulates studies with natural products that may present themselves as new modulating agents of fungal sensitivity. thus, the association of the combination of dihydrojasmone with terbinafine can lead to a reduction in its effective concentrations for inhibiting fungal growth and treatment, which would be a gain for the health of humans and animals. therefore, the present invention offers an innovative alternative to a natural product that presents antifungal activity in isolated form and synergistic activity when associated with terbinafine in subinhibitory concentrations.
