a method for processing sugar cane juice from pure sugar cane stalks to produce various forms of a natural sugar cane juice product while preserving policosanols naturally occurring in pure sugar cane stems, resulting in products based on natural sugar cane juice enriched with policosanol, such as a ready drink, a concentrated sweetening agent and a nutraceutical product. the method may include the steps of providing sugar cane stalks having high concentrations of policosanol; extracting the sugar cane juice from the sugar cane stalks via a series of roller mills; filter the juice extracted from sugar cane; stabilize the pH of the juice in a non-acidic solution of calcium hydroxide; flocculate the sugar cane juice to remove unwanted impurities; optionally, evaporate the sugar cane juice to form a sugar cane juice concentrate rich in policosanol and extract the sugar cane juice concentrate from the evaporator.
