The present technical solution relates to computer technology, in particular to systems and methods of energy-optimal control of rolling stock. The technical result consists in minimizing energy consumption for performing train and shunting operations, as well as preventing slipping. A method for energy-optimal control of rolling stock using the coefficient of adhesion in the traction mode, including the following steps: obtaining the parameters of the rolling stock, including at least the coefficient of adhesion for the traction mode, the parameters of the dependence of the coefficient of adhesion for the traction mode on speed, a priori vector of parameters of the dependence of the coefficient of adhesion for traction mode versus speed, speed, rolling stock mass, traction force, sign of slippage, route information, including at least the starting and ending point of the route, the plan and profile of the track; determine the value of the coefficient of adhesion for the traction mode based on the data obtained in the previous step; checking the accuracy of the dependence of the coefficient of adhesion for the traction mode on the speed, while if it does not accurately describe the adhesion, then the parameters of the dependence of the coefficient of adhesion for the traction mode on the speed are specified; form an optimal control plan for the rest of the route using at least the parameters of the rolling stock and the dependence of the adhesion coefficient for the traction mode on the speed; implement optimal control using the generated optimal control plan.
