The purpose of the notification is to provide a diagnosis of in vitro Borellosis and a differential diagnosis of in vitro Borellosis arthritis versus rheumatoid arthritis, in which the individual sample indicates the level of lysophosphatidyethanolamine containing myristic acid (LysoPE) (14:0),and compare the level of lysophosphatidyl ethanolamine so determined with the level of lysophosphatidyl ethanolamine containing myristic acid in the reference sample; the level of lysophosphatidyl ethanolamine containing myristic acid higher than in the reference sample indicates that the individual suffers from Borellosis. In addition, lysophosphatidyethanolamine, containing myristic acid for use as a biomarker of Borellosis, as a biomarker of Borellosis arthritis, as a biomarker for differential diagnosis of Borellosis arthritis compared to rheumatoid arthritis, is also reported,as a biomarker of neuroborosis. The report shall also include an in vitro diagnostic kit for Borliosis and an in vitro differential diagnosis kit for Borliosis, which includes a measure for the determination of the level of lysophosphatidyl ethanolamine containing myristic acid and instructions for the diagnosis.
