By using the method for synchronously extracting lycopene and citrulline from the watermelon of the present invention, about 0.5 kg of lycopene (6% content) and more than 1.2 kg of citrulline which are worthy of nearly ten thousand yuan can be extracted from each ton of imperfect watermelons, the economic benefit of each ton of watermelons can be increased by more than 5000 yuan after extraction costs are deducted, and the method is high in economic benefits.
