Disclosed in the present invention is a scale-invariant depth map mapping method for a three-dimensional image. The method comprises: acquiring a three-dimensional point cloud image of an object; setting parameters required for mapping; calculating row number R and column number C of the image, and generating an image having a gray scale of 0; traversing points in the point cloud; and calculating pixel gray scale values of corresponding positions, so as to obtain a specific scale-invariant depth map. The method of the present invention is a scale-invariant depth map mapping method for a three-dimensional image point cloud set, and is able to obtain object depth maps of the same scale at different depths, use an existing image algorithm to perform processing, and the method has a feature of calculating a spatial three-dimensional position of an object by means of a depth map.
